SAM XT™ Tourniquet
Rapid, intuitive windlass tourniquet engineered for fast, consistent application. The TRUFORCE™ Buckle auto-locks when preset circumferential force is reached—removing slack before you even turn the windlass. Just click, twist, secure.
Key features
-
TRUFORCE™ auto-locking buckle: Audible/tactile click confirms proper pre-tension and eliminates nearly all slack.
-
Windlass system: Textured, high-strength rod with low-profile retention cleat for secure lock-up under movement.
-
Wide compression band: Promotes effective arterial occlusion with fewer windlass turns.
-
One-hand or two-hand use: Works with gloves, in wet/bloody conditions.
-
TIME tab: High-visibility write area to record application time.
-
Rugged build: Weather-resistant materials; snag-resistant tail; compact carry.
How to use (summary)
-
Place 5–7 cm (2–3”) above the wound (or “high & tight” if location uncertain); avoid joints and bulky items.
-
Route strap through the TRUFORCE buckle and pull until it clicks.
-
Twist the windlass until bleeding stops and distal pulse is absent.
-
Lock windlass into the retention cleat; secure the tail; write the time.
-
Monitor; do not cover the TQ.
Best practices
-
Intended for single-use in real events; train with a dedicated trainer.
-
Inspect regularly (strap, stitching, buckle, windlass).
-
Follow TCCC/TECC or local medical protocols; seek higher care immediately.
Life-saving devices require training—get hands-on instruction and practice until application is second nature.
Care
Gear Care (Read This Before You Wreck It)
Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

Shipping & Returns
We move fast.
For in-stock items, handling time is 0–1 business days and we hand your order to the carrier right away. Shipping speed and price depend on what you pick at checkout (Posti for standard/economy in Finland & EU, FedEx for faster domestic, EU/EEA, and international delivery).
If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
If your cart has both in-stock gear and made-to-order gear, we may ship what’s ready first so you don’t have to wait.
You’ll get a tracking code as soon as your parcel is handed to Posti or FedEx.
