Refund policy

This policy applies to consumer purchases on geardom.com within the EU/EEA.
B2B / professional purchases are handled case-by-case under contract and applicable law (no automatic withdrawal right).

1) EU 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day you (or your designee) receive the goods—no reason required.

How it works

  • Notify us within 14 days by emailing team@geardom.com (include order number and items).

  • After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days.

  • If you withdraw from the entire order, we refund the item price plus the cost of our least-expensive standard outbound shipping. Any paid upgrade (e.g., express) is not refunded.

  • Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or we made an error.

  • We issue the refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof of return. We may withhold the refund until the goods arrive.

2) Condition of Returned Goods & Deductions

Handle products as you would in a shop. You may open and inspect items only to the extent needed to assess their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
If items are used or handled beyond this, we may deduct an amount for diminished value from the refund.

3) Not Eligible for Return under the Withdrawal Right

  • Sealed hygiene/health-protection goods once the seal is broken (unless the item is faulty).
    Examples: base-layer underwear, socks, balaclavas/neck gaiters with a hygiene seal; in-ear tips/custom inserts; hydration bladders, hoses, bite valves, water filters once unsealed/used.

  • Custom or personalised items made to your specifications.

  • Goods that, after delivery, are inseparably mixed with other items.

Note: A blanket “no returns on opened items” is not allowed under EU rules—opening for normal inspection is fine; use beyond inspection can reduce your refund.

4) Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Legal Guarantee)

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, email team@geardom.com with photos and your order number. We will provide a remedy under the EU legal guarantee—repair or replacement first when reasonable; otherwise price reduction or refund.
For confirmed faults/our errors, we cover reasonable return shipping. Items damaged by misuse are not eligible.

5) Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. Please place a new order for the desired item and return the original under this policy for a refund.

6) Return Steps (Summary)

  1. Email team@geardom.com to initiate.

  2. Pack securely; include all tags, accessories, manuals, and original packaging.

  3. Ship with tracking and keep the receipt.

  4. Refunds are sent to the original payment method.

7) Your Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable EU and national consumer law.
