These Terms govern purchases and use of geardom.com (the “Site”). By ordering from the Site, you accept these Terms.
1) Definitions

“Business Customer / B2B”: A purchase for business/professional use (incl. public entities)
2) Scope & Contract Formation
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept when we dispatch the goods (or explicitly confirm acceptance). We may decline orders (e.g., stock errors, pricing mistakes, compliance reasons).
3) Prices, Taxes & Currency
All prices are in EUR. For EU consumers, prices include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. If a pricing/display error occurs, we may cancel and refund before dispatch.
4) Payment
We accept payments via Paytrail, Stripe, and PayPal. Available options vary by country and are shown at checkout.

Paytrail (payment intermediary in Finland): Finnish online banks, major payment cards, and any invoice/instalment options offered by Paytrail (e.g., Walley/OP Lasku, as available).

Stripe: major cards and supported local wallets.

PayPal: payment with a PayPal account or PayPal-approved cards/methods.
Your payment method is charged at order confirmation or on dispatch, depending on the provider. You confirm that you’re authorized to use the selected method. In case of suspected fraud or misuse, we may cancel the order.
Refunds: In returns or error cases, refunds are issued to the original payment method through the same provider (Paytrail/Stripe/PayPal) after we process the return. Bank/issuer processing times may affect when funds appear.
Paytrail operator statement: Paytrail Plc (Business ID 2122839-7) acts as the payment intermediary and is supervised/registered as a payment institution. For complaints related to a payment made via Paytrail, please contact us first; you may also contact Paytrail if needed.

5) Availability, Backorders & Pre-orders

Backorder/out of stock: estimated dispatch 5–30 days (estimate; we’ll update you if it changes)

If supply becomes impossible (e.g., discontinuation), we’ll cancel and refund the affected items
6) Shipping & Delivery
We ship to the countries shown at checkout via the carriers offered there. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Risk of loss transfers to you on delivery. Please inspect parcels at delivery and notify us promptly of visible damage.
7) Returns & Refunds (Consumers)
Consumer returns are governed by our Returns & Refunds, incorporated into these Terms.

8) B2B / Professional Orders
Unless agreed otherwise in writing: no statutory withdrawal right; returns are case-by-case. For B2B, our total liability is limited to the net purchase price of the affected order, and we exclude indirect/consequential losses to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
9) Warranty & Legal Guarantee
This section describes (A) the EU legal guarantee (minimum rights for consumers) and (B) any manufacturer warranties that may accompany certain products.
A) EU Legal Guarantee (Consumers)

Coverage & duration: Consumers have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for lack of conformity present at delivery and manifesting within that period. Your national law may provide additional protections.

Your remedies: We will repair or replace the product first when reasonable. If repair/replacement is impossible or disproportionate, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund.

How to claim: Contact team@geardom.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos/videos if relevant. We’ll provide instructions and, for confirmed faults/our errors, cover reasonable return shipping.

What isn’t covered: Damage due to misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, neglect, accidents, or normal wear and tear. Consumables (e.g., water filters, tubing, seals, batteries) are covered for manufacturing defects but not for normal consumption/use.

B2B: Business customers’ statutory remedies follow applicable commercial law and contract terms; the consumer legal guarantee described above does not apply.
B) Manufacturer Warranties (If Provided)

Some products include a manufacturer’s commercial warranty (e.g., “5-year limited warranty”). This is voluntary and in addition to your EU legal guarantee—it does not limit your statutory rights.

Terms & process: Coverage period, scope, and claim process are defined by the manufacturer. In many cases you can claim either through us or directly with the manufacturer. We’ll help route your claim—start by emailing team@geardom.com with your order number and evidence of the issue.

Proof of purchase: Keep your receipt/order confirmation; manufacturers generally require it.

Exclusions: See the specific manufacturer’s warranty booklet/web page for any exclusions or maintenance requirements (e.g., cleaning/servicing intervals). Failure to follow required maintenance may void the manufacturer warranty.
10) Product Information & Use
We aim for accurate descriptions and images; minor variations (e.g., packaging changes) may occur. Ensure compatibility and intended use before purchase. Tactical/outdoor equipment must be used responsibly and per manufacturer instructions and local laws. We are not liable for damage from misuse or improper maintenance.
11) Promotions, Gift Cards & Discount Codes
Promotions and codes are time-limited, non-transferable, and may exclude certain brands/categories. One code per order unless stated otherwise. Gift cards (if available) are prepaid instruments redeemable on geardom.com; not reloadable or redeemable for cash unless required by law. 12) User Accounts & Accuracy of Data
You’re responsible for safeguarding your login and ensuring your shipping, billing and contact details are accurate. Orders are processed based on the data you provide.
13) Compliance & Restrictions
Some items may be subject to local restrictions (e.g., age limits, import rules, safety standards). You are responsible for complying with applicable laws in your country. We may cancel orders that appear non-compliant.
14) Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (logos, text, images, videos) is owned by Geardom Oy or its licensors and protected by IP laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute content without written permission, except as allowed by mandatory law.
15) Privacy & Cookies
Personal data is processed under our Privacy Policy (GDPR).
16) Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural events, strikes, transport disruptions, supplier failures, acts of authority).
17) Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g., for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights). Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, data, or opportunity).
18) Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary. The version published on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
19) Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Consumers may bring claims in their country of residence if required by mandatory law. We aim to resolve issues amicably; you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform or local consumer dispute bodies where applicable.
