The Salomon XA Pro Forces GTX is a lightweight, waterproof tactical shoe designed for demanding military, law enforcement and special operations use. Based on the proven XA PRO 3D platform, the XA Pro Forces GTX combines low weight, stability, protection and rapid lacing in a low-cut design built for fast movement across varied terrain and changing weather conditions.
The upper combines anti-debris mesh and single-layer mesh with non-reflective materials, providing durability, flexibility and a discreet appearance suitable for tactical use. A GORE-TEX® membrane provides waterproof protection, while the gusseted tongue helps prevent debris from entering the shoe. The 3D protective toe cap and protective mudguard provide additional protection when moving through rough and uneven terrain.
The SensiFit™ construction cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure and precise fit. Salomon’s Quicklace™ system allows fast, one-pull tightening and easy removal, while the integrated lace pocket keeps excess lacing securely tucked away.
Underfoot, the combination of 3D Advanced Chassis™, EnergyCell and Contagrip® MA provides a stable and responsive platform for tactical movement. Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.
