Oakley SI Ballistic M-Frame Alpha Operator Kit
The Oakley SI Ballistic M-Frame Alpha Operator Kit is a complete modular eye protection system designed for demanding military, law enforcement and professional applications. The ALPHA™ system is built around three integrated components: the frame, gasket and goggle. A single lens can be used across the different ALPHA platforms, providing a versatile and scalable solution for changing operational requirements.
The complete ALPHA Operator Kit includes the full Oakley ALPHA ecosystem, combining the SI Ballistic M Frame® ALPHA™, SI Ballistic Halo™ Goggle and SI HELO – ALPHA™ gasket with multiple lens options and essential accessories.
The SI Ballistic M Frame® ALPHA™ frame meets or exceeds ANSI Z87.1 high-mass and high-velocity impact requirements and MIL-PRF-32432A ballistic impact requirements. The lightweight SI HELO – ALPHA™ rubberized gasket helps block wind and dust, while the Halo™ Goggle and split strap provide additional versatility and protection in demanding environments.

Ballistic Protection
The Oakley ALPHA system is designed to meet the demanding MIL-PRF-32432A ballistic impact requirement. During testing, Oakley eyewear is subjected to a 0.15 caliber, 5.85 grain T37-shaped projectile traveling at approximately 700–725 feet per second. To pass, the eyewear must remain intact without dislodged components or lens fracture.
The system also meets or exceeds the ANSI Z87.1 (2015) high-mass and high-velocity impact requirements.
For the high-mass impact test, a 500-gram metal spike is dropped onto the lens from a height of 51.2 inches. No frame components or lens fragments that could cause eye injury may be ejected during impact.
For the high-velocity impact test, a pneumatic cannon launches a quarter-inch steel shot at approximately 102 mph toward the lens from multiple heights and angles. To pass, there can be no contact between the lens and the eye, and no frame parts or lens fragments that could damage the eye may be ejected.

Gear Care (Read This Before You Wreck It)
Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.
