The Mystery Ranch Komodo Dragon is a mission-ready assault pack designed for extended operations and heavier loadouts. Built as a larger counterpart to the iconic 3 Day Assault Pack, it offers increased capacity while maintaining the same rugged reliability and rapid-access design trusted by military professionals.
At the core of the pack is Mystery Ranch’s signature 3-ZIP opening, allowing fast and complete access to the main compartment without unpacking your gear. The Futura Yoke harness system enables precise torso-length adjustment for a custom fit and ensures proper load carriage whether worn over standard clothing or body armor.
For improved stability during tactical operations, the pack features the BVS (Bolstered Ventilation and Stability) system, which keeps the pack secure when worn over armor. The removable bolsters allow users to reduce the pack’s profile when armor is not being worn.
Inside the pack, an internal MOLLE panel supports radio mounts and modular accessories, while multiple organization pockets and three hydration sleeves allow efficient management of essential gear. External PALS webbing further expands carrying options, and side pockets accommodate items such as water bottles, tripods, or a rifle butt.
Built around a durable HDPE internal frame sheet, the Komodo Dragon balances rigidity and flexibility to support heavier loads without sacrificing comfort. A stowable waist belt provides additional stability when needed and can be tucked away when not in use.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
If your cart has both in-stock gear and made-to-order gear, we may ship what’s ready first so you don’t have to wait.
