The Modlite Handheld 18650 Body/Tailcap Package provides a dedicated handheld light body and tailcap compatible with all Modlite light heads. It also serves as a direct replacement body for SureFire® Scout Light M600DF weapon lights and KE2-DF heads, offering flexibility for users upgrading or reconfiguring compatible lighting systems.
The body features a durable Type III Hardcoat Anodized finish. Due to variations inherent in the anodizing process, slight differences in finish and color may occur between components, even within the same production batch.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
