Unlike friction-fit covers, the Infinity Cap threads securely onto the NVG objective lens, preventing accidental detachment. A built-in O-ring seal keeps dust and debris out, while the integrated polycarbonate sacrificial lens ensures your expensive PVS-31A optics remain protected against scratches and impact — without sacrificing light transmission (92% clarity).

The defining feature is its adjustable iris system, which ranges from 23.5mm down to 1mm, allowing precise control over light intake and depth of field.
