Falconclaw Quick Detach Flip (QDF) Mount
The Falconclaw Quick Detach Flip (QDF) Mount is a lightweight and rugged mounting solution designed for night vision and thermal optics. With its flip-to-side mechanism, it allows operators to quickly move their device out of the line of sight when switching back to a daytime optic. Built from 7000-series aluminium with MIL-A-8625 Type III hard anodizing and reinforced with stainless steel, the QDF Mount delivers durability with minimal weight at just 66 g.
When combined with Falconclaw QDA adapters, the QDF Mount provides a precise 1.63” / 41 mm optical centerline height (measured from the rail to the optic). This makes it fully compatible with a wide range of well-known night vision and thermal devices. The quick detach system allows seamless mounting and removal, ensuring maximum flexibility in the field.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.
