Direct Action Vanguard Field Shirt
The Direct Action Vanguard Field Shirt is a combat-ready tactical shirt designed to provide excellent comfort, mobility and functionality when worn under a plate carrier or other load-bearing equipment. Made from lightweight NyCo fabric, the Vanguard Field Shirt combines durability with breathability and unrestricted movement for demanding field use.
The shirt features a concealed front zipper and a stand-up collar that provides additional protection and a clean profile when worn with body armor. The chest area incorporates four functional pockets, including two side-entry zippered compartments for secure storage and two additional VELCRO®-secured pockets positioned over them for quick access to essential equipment.
Internal gear loops help keep smaller items organized and secure inside the pockets, while the zippered chest pockets can also be opened to function as ventilation ports, improving airflow and helping regulate body temperature during strenuous activity.
For additional durability and protection, the elbows are reinforced and feature internal compartments compatible with protective elbow inserts. VELCRO®-adjustable cuffs allow the sleeves to be securely fitted around the wrists, while the shoulder pockets provide additional storage and feature VELCRO® panels for identification patches and personalization.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

For in-stock items, handling time is 0–1 business days and we hand your order to the carrier right away. Shipping speed and price depend on what you pick at checkout (Posti for standard/economy in Finland & EU, FedEx for faster domestic, EU/EEA, and international delivery).
If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
If your cart has both in-stock gear and made-to-order gear, we may ship what’s ready first so you don’t have to wait.
You’ll get a tracking code as soon as your parcel is handed to Posti or FedEx.
