Direct Action Vanguard Access Insulation Jacket
The Direct Action Vanguard Access Insulation Jacket is an insulated tactical jacket designed for operators working in harsh, cold environments. Filled with Climashield® Comfort Plus synthetic insulation at 67 g/m², it provides thermal protection even when wet, supporting comfort during prolonged operations and field training.
Designed for use with tactical equipment, the Vanguard Access allows the wearer to put on and use the jacket without removing or opening a plate carrier. Pass-through hand pockets and full-length side zippers provide direct access to carried equipment, while a two-way front zipper facilitates donning and doffing. Adjustable side panels, a waist-level strap with buckle, and a lower hem drawcord help stabilize the jacket and reduce heat loss during movement.
The adjustable hood is constructed from membrane fabric and accommodates a helmet with mounted accessories, including hearing protection, battery packs, and lights. When not needed, the hood can be rolled up and stowed inside the collar.

In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
If your cart has both in-stock gear and made-to-order gear, we may ship what’s ready first so you don’t have to wait.
