Direct Action Spitfire QR Plate Carrier
The Direct Action Spitfire QR Plate Carrier is a lightweight and highly modular plate carrier designed for dynamic operations where mobility, rapid access and adaptable load carriage are essential. Building on the proven Spitfire platform, the Spitfire QR adds an integrated Quick Release system for rapid donning and doffing in critical situations.
The name Spitfire pays tribute to the Polish RAF pilots who flew the iconic aircraft during the Battle of Britain. The modern Spitfire QR continues that legacy with a lightweight construction and mission-adaptable design suitable for military, law enforcement and professional tactical applications.
The carrier body combines laser-cut laminate, Cordura® 500D and softshell fabric to provide a durable yet lightweight construction with high resistance to abrasion and wear. The modular design allows the carrier to be configured from a minimalist plate carrier to a more comprehensive load-bearing platform using compatible front flaps, cummerbunds, chest rigs and other accessories.
The integrated Quick Release system uses Duraflex® QRS buckles on the shoulders and cummerbund, allowing the carrier to be rapidly released without having to undo multiple components. This can simplify casualty evacuation, provide faster access to injuries and facilitate removal of the carrier in confined environments such as vehicles.
The Spitfire QR Plate Carrier is compatible with Crye Precision AVS-style zip-on back panels as well as Mayflower and Velocity chest rigs. The carrier can be configured in a full wraparound setup or used with only the front plate bag. Front flaps can be attached directly to the carrier or secured using buckles, providing additional configuration options.
Integrated routing channels through both the plate bags and cummerbund allow communication cables and hydration tubes to be neatly routed through the carrier. Additional accessories such as radio wings and armor components further expand the carrier’s capabilities.

Care
Gear Care (Read This Before You Wreck It)
Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

Shipping & Returns
We move fast.
For in-stock items, handling time is 0–1 business days and we hand your order to the carrier right away. Shipping speed and price depend on what you pick at checkout (Posti for standard/economy in Finland & EU, FedEx for faster domestic, EU/EEA, and international delivery).
If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
If your cart has both in-stock gear and made-to-order gear, we may ship what’s ready first so you don’t have to wait.
You’ll get a tracking code as soon as your parcel is handed to Posti or FedEx.
