Direct Action® Spitfire Plate Carrier – Lightweight, Modular Ballistic Protection Platform
The Direct Action® Spitfire Plate Carrier is a lightweight, modular body armor platform engineered for modern tactical operations. Named after the iconic WWII fighter aircraft, the Spitfire combines streamlined design with exceptional versatility and rugged durability, making it one of the lightest and most adaptable plate carriers in its class.
Built using a proprietary laser-cut laminate, Cordura® 500D nylon, and softshell fabric, the Spitfire offers outstanding performance in a compact footprint. Whether you’re running a slick front, full MOLLE loadout, or kangaroo-style mag insert, this carrier adapts to mission-specific needs with ease. It also supports interchangeable cummerbunds, side armor inserts, and optional quick-release cutaway systems—enabling rapid medical access or donning and doffing under pressure.
The rear panel features a Crye Precision AVS™-compatible zipper system, allowing seamless integration with mission-specific back panels. A zippered admin pocket, low-profile drag handle, PTT/comms routing points, and reinforced Hypalon® pull tabs round out this highly functional design.

Care
Gear Care (Read This Before You Wreck It)
Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

Shipping & Returns
We move fast.
For in-stock items, handling time is 0–1 business days and we hand your order to the carrier right away. Shipping speed and price depend on what you pick at checkout (Posti for standard/economy in Finland & EU, FedEx for faster domestic, EU/EEA, and international delivery).
If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
If your cart has both in-stock gear and made-to-order gear, we may ship what’s ready first so you don’t have to wait.
You’ll get a tracking code as soon as your parcel is handed to Posti or FedEx.
