The boot features a one-piece, water-resistant Perwanger leather upper for durable protection and comfort. A GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort Footwear lining delivers waterproofness, breathability, and thermal insulation, while the Pebax frame and PU cushioning insert enhance stability and shock absorption.
The Asolo/Vibram Vertical outsole provides strong traction, torsional control, and full crampon compatibility, making the Alta Via GV MM suitable for challenging terrain and cold-weather operations.

In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.
