Arktis B310 Waterproof Combat Smock
The Arktis B310 Waterproof Combat Smock is a fully waterproof combat smock designed for demanding military use. Originally developed for the SAS in the late 1980s, the B310 has retained its simple, practical construction while receiving refinements over the years.
Its waterproof and breathable performance comes from a lightweight, seam-sealed polyester dropliner with taped seams, protected beneath a durable 50/50 cotton-polyester Ripstop outer. This construction helps shield the waterproof layer from wear and damage while providing a quiet outer fabric with a low-melt/no-drip characteristic.
The B310 follows Arktis’s emphasis on efficiency, durability, and straightforward field functionality, with generous sizing, heavy-duty stitching, bartacked stress points, and multiple adjustment points for adaptable protection in changing conditions.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.
