The Aimpoint Comp M5 is a compact, lightweight, and extremely rugged 2 MOA red dot designed for professional use in demanding environments. Built on the proven COMP series, it delivers a crisp dot, outstanding lens clarity, and true “always on” reliability with over 5 years of constant runtime on a single battery. Advanced lens coatings dramatically improve dot shape and light transmission, making it an excellent match with Aimpoint 3XMAG-1 and 6XMAG-1 magnifiers. All of this comes in a small, durable package that adds minimal weight and rail footprint to your weapon.
This configuration ships without a mount, allowing you to choose the exact height and mounting solution that best fits your rifle setup.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.
In general:
Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”
Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.
If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.
Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.
