Arisaka Zero Retention Clamp — MCX Virtus & Spear LT

Lock down your handguard-to-receiver interface to eliminate laser/iron sight zero shift on MCX Virtus and Spear LT platforms. The patented ZRC ties the handguard to the extended upper across two axes using exterior clamps and a captive U-bracket that does not contact the barrel or gas system, preserving free-float accuracy.


Why it matters

  • MCX Virtus/Spear LT handguards can flex, causing 5+ mil POI shifts under light support-hand pressure and not always returning to zero. The ZRC solves this.

 

How it works

  • Exterior clamps thread into a U-bracket that engages the upper under the handguard, greatly reducing or eliminating zero shift.

  • Contoured clamps minimize interference with normal handguard grip.

  • Yes: MCX Virtus (5.56, .300 BLK); Spear LT (5.56, 7.62×39, .300 BLK)

  • No: Rattler, Canebrake

 

Notes

  • Must be uninstalled before removing the handguard.

  • Arisaka is not responsible for damage from improper installation.

 

Best for

  • Rail-mounted lasers/illuminators and front sights where repeatable zero is critical.

Always follow the manufacturer’s care instructions first. That’s the rule.

In general:


  • Soft goods (clothing, slings, pouches, etc.) are usually machine-washable at 30°C and air dry only — unless the label or product page says otherwise. No tumble dryer, no bleach, no “it’ll probably be fine.”

  • Hard goods (plates, helmets, tools, lights, etc.) should not be thrown in a washer. Wipe them down with water or a mild cleaner and let them dry naturally. No solvents, no high heat, no dishwasher experiments.

If you use cleaning methods that are not recommended by the manufacturer and something fails because of that, it’s not covered by warranty.

Treat your kit like it’s going back out tomorrow.

For in-stock items, handling time is 0–1 business days and we hand your order to the carrier right away. Shipping speed and price depend on what you pick at checkout (Posti for standard/economy in Finland & EU, FedEx for faster domestic, EU/EEA, and international delivery).


If something is shown as out of stock but still purchasable, that means it’s on back-order / special-order. Estimated dispatch for those items is usually 5–30 days. High-end products like night vision devices and thermal optics are most often “made to order,” meaning we source them individually per customer request.
